The moon finds a way to be rocky from meteors that have hit the wonderful moon
over time!
The moon finds a way to be like a spotlight coming from the sky happily shining on
the swans in the lake gracefully putting on a show.
The moon finds a wonderful way to have memories from people that have stepped on
our great moon.
The moon finds a way to control the tides during the night. And to help grunion come
from the water.
The moon finds a way to be small but have big dreams.
The moon finds a way to make light In night but not in the day.
The moon finds a way to circle the earth in 27 days.
Our moon is a great gift to give light in the night.

Our class made cool poetry posters for poems that we wrote!

At school in April there was a day called poem in your pocket day!
And we made posters for poems that we made. My poem that I made
was called My Thought. It was about a little girl who thought about going
in fairy tales. But then we made posters for the poem that we wrote. On
my poster there is drawings from an app called notability. The poster was
SO FUN to make!!!! I hope that you read my poster! And I hope you like it!

Our class took a field trip to the Children’s Museum! We brought our
notebooks and wrote about all the things we saw! I hope you go

New Children’s Museum
OMG!

In downtown San Diego there is a place, it’s the New Children’s Museum!
On one of the top floors there is an exhibit, it’s the Wonder Sound. I really like the Wonder Sound! In the Wonder Sound there are some secret rooms, like the spoon room. The spoon room has lots of spoons on the top of the ceiling! I think it is really cool! In the Wonder Sound there is an amazing room there are ropes attached to the walls and you can climb wherever you want!!! One of my favorite things about the Wonder Sound is that there are animals on the walls wherever you go, if you stay in the wonder sound! One of my favorite places was the Home Tower. It is really high up in the sky. You feel warm and snug when you are in the Home
Tower and you feel like you are at your very own house. And one of my other favorite places was… the rain house. It sounds like it is raining if you listen carefully. And there are a lot of stuffed animals and warm and cozy. Just what you might do at your own house when it is raining. Well I hope you can go some time with your family!!!!
Magic Animals

One day there was a little owl who lived in a tree. The owl wanted some friends and the owl was lonely all the time. So the little owl went all around the world to find some friends. He found a little panda eating some bamboo. The panda’s name was Scarlet. Then Scarlet and the owl went around the big world and they found a fox named ice. They were not at all the same. But there was one thing that they all had in common. They all love the stars. So when it was dark they would stare at the stars. But 10 minutes later all of the stars go away. So all of the animals go on a hunt for the stars. Then they see a monkey with a bag… with the stars in it. The
animals love the stars so they will never give up. Then they find a little porcupine. Its name was Oscar. It was so cute. The animal wanted to help with them finding the stars. They see the stars in a dark cave. The animals see the monkey! They collect the stars. Then the monkey sees. The monkey said the only way that you can keep the stars is if you can get past the ropes, the rain, and the huge house. They all get past. And they all put the stars back in the big dark sky! And they all looked at the pretty, beautiful, nice night stars all night!!

Do you like comics? If you do then read this. In my class we made solar system comics. And we made them in an app called Comic Life! How did we do it? We went in an app called notability to make the art in the comic. To make the comic it took about 3 or 4 weeks. To get photos we went in an app called NASA, to get space photos. You should try to make a comic!

Hey reader, please read this, well if you were wondering what some of those strange
words are, well our class studies those words! Every week we get one of those words on
a big pice of paper called the morning message! On the morning message we see one of
those words! And it gives us hints! We also try to guess the word! And on Friday is the part
were we find out were it means! And if you look down low you will see my story! It has ten
or more vocabulary words! Scroll down and read my amazing story!! Hope you like it!

One day there was 2 panda cubs, and 1 golden wild hamster! They were all best friends!
They would play, and play, and play, all day long! That night they all nestled in their beds!
That morning, the pandas went up into a bamboo tree! The hamster wanted to know how
to do that too! He tried a number of times but he just couldn’t do it! He was in a big
predicament!!!! He strived but still he couldn’t do it! He was hasty, once he fell he came right back up again! He did it hour after hour! That night as the day diminished, the
Luster of the moon started to shine! He had big dreams all night long. When the morning
came the hamster told the pandas,”I am adept, please let me try”! The pandas didn’t even
believe that he could do it! They snickered but as they saw the hamster their jaws
opened wide and and they were shocked! The hamster was very tiny, but very
strong!! They pandas said you should be in the newspaper! Or better yet the
Olympics! So they set up a mini Olympics and the hamster did mini tricks!
Including going up that easy tree that he was adept at doing! The hamster
was not in a predicament any more because he was tenacious and after
a while, he was prowess! And after that day he did it adeptly , and used it like a work out
every day!!! And also had big dreams, and got better and better every day!!!!!!!!!!!

Subtracting is sometimes hard, but this video is a simple way
to easily do subtracting and it is called Golden Arches.

Once upon a time there was an app called storybird.
It can also be found on the website which is storybird.com.
You can find the pictures by hitting the top button that says search.
For example if you searched cats it would show you pictures of cats.
Storybird is an app that lets you make your very own story.
I like it because you can look for pictures, and type a story on top of the pictures!
Let your imagination run wild in storybird!

It is called The Doodles Problem!

In my class we did a two voice poem. A two voice poem is a poem with two things talking to each other. We studied Paul Fleischman. He wrote a fireflies poem and honey bee and worker bee. I liked fireflies, but I loved honey bee and worker bee. I liked fireflies because it had beautiful language. I liked the bee poem because the queen and worker bee poem because the queen had a fancy life and the worker was dirty and a hard life. And we also recorded a two voice poem. We recorded in garage band. It is an app where you record your voice.
Now the sorta hard part was recording your voice. You have to make it clear, I mean talk clearly and be ready to record!

In my class we went on a field trip. We went to the San Elijo lagoon.
We did field notes. In field notes we write what we saw some facts about it and a picture that me and my class drew.
It was interesting because I saw lots of butterflies, one was on my nose!
My friend saw a king snake!
And I saw a fish jump out of the water.
I saw lots of baby fiddler crabs, and that was so cool!
It was all interesting.
We used binoculars and shared with a partner.
We were surrounded by brackish water with lots of birds like a heron.
Did you know that snowy egrets are almost extinct?
It was whimsical, interesting, and cool! I saw a lot of coots they are like ducks. Their nest is in water weeds. It was fun because I saw lots of different birds everywhere.
It was amazing!!
It was cool because there was a lot of birds and especially the heron flying!

I have a game at home called Drive Ahead!!!! It is a 2 person game. There is a red car and a blue car. You can transform into a leprechaun, a baby stroller, a snowman. Weird stuff. But still a funny game. My friend has the same app. She is funny and the app is funny. You hit the arrows to move. You can also watch what you did in slow mo. I like it because it is funny and because you can get points even if you don’t do anything to make it or the car move. But not so much when the other person. It is so fun!
